ICHK is joining the ISSFHK ultimate (frisbee) league for the first time.

In the past students have played in various tournaments, but Covid put a halt to our programme.

Recently the programme has been rekindled, leading to a surge in interest from students.

Students have been playing the sport under the guidance of Ross Parker, during Tuesday’s Curriculum X Activities, Enrichment & Flow and some friendly matches with other schools.

A squad of 18 players has now been put together, and they will play in the U20 division, despite their relatively young age. As always, the team will aim to play in the “spirit of the game” (a big part of ultimate), to grow and to have fun. 

A series of matches will be played, giving students the chance to compete and learn from other players in this fast-paced, skill based sport. In the first match of the season, the team defeated YCIS 15-10.

We are very pleased to be joining the league and offering students a new opportunity to develop the pride that is associated with representing the school.
